Starting Johnson Townhomes Phase II

Habitat's Plans for the Summer

Even with the summer temperatures on the rise, the necessity to serve families in need of affordable housing continues. This is why Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona (HFHCAZ) is committed to carry on its mission.
This summer HFHCAZ, in partnership with the City of Glendale, will renovate six vacant foreclosed homes. These projects are possible through the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) funds the City of Glendale has received. HFHCAZ is excited to get the projects underway.
Additionally, the City of Surprise has contracted with HFHCAZ to build and/or renovate three homes through the NSP funds they have received. Our first project with the City of Surprise will be completed by mid-June. The city plans to identify the second project, which we anticipate starting this summer.

Resource Development Intern
Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona is currently seeking a individual to participate as an intern with the affiliate during the summer of 2010. We have one opening for an individual on our Resource Development Team. The Resource Development intern will work in conjunction with the Corporate and Faith Relations Managers to ensure excellent customer service for Habitat for Humanity home sponsors.
