Legacy Project

Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona in partnership with its home sponsor Well Fargo Housing Foundation will be building a net zero energy affordable home as a Legacy Project for the 2009 GreenBuild Conference and Expo being held in Phoenix the week of November 9. The home will be constructed in five days during the conference and will be at 20 N 27th Dr, Phoenix. For more information on this project please click here.

Concrete Home

Salt River Materials Group (SRMG) has sponsored the construction of a home at 11 N 28th Ave. This home will seek LEED Platinum certification, and achieve net zero energy consumption. The home’s design and construction techniques were developed in partnership with SRMG and many generous in-kind donors. For more information on this project please click here.

Energy Star Homes

All HFHCAZ homes are built to Energy Star standards.  Energy Star homes are typically 20-30% more energy efficient than homes built to standard residential building code.

Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) for Homes
