Hillcrest Village Community, a 37-unit community located in the City of Avondale at 127th Avenue and south of Lower Buckeye Road. The homes are all one-story single family detached homes ranging from three bedrooms at 1300 square feet to five bedrooms at 1620 square feet. This community began in 2009 and will be constructed in three phases.
Palmaire Court is an 11-unit project of Twin Homes homes located in the City of Glendale on 54th avenue between Myrtle Avenue and Glenn Avenue. These homes are two-story single family attached homes (they are duplexes attached at the garage). There are three and four bedroom homes ranging from approximately 1340 square feet to 1443 square feet. This project began in 2010.
Kirby Street, a 6-unit project of Twin Homes homes located in the City of Peoria on 79th Avenue South of Cactus Road. These homes are two-story single family attached homes (they are duplexes attached at the garage). There are three- and four-bedroom homes ranging from approximately 1340 square feet to 1443 square feet. This project will begin Fall 2010.
Johnson Townhomes, a 48-unit project of Townhomes located near Grand Avenue and Bell Road in the City of Surprise. These homes are two-story with three bedrooms and a two-car garage and are about 1,200 square feet. Each building has 4 or 5 units attached. This project began in 2007.
Infill projects are continuing valley-wide.
In partnership with Valley cities, Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona plans to renovate many foreclosed homes as a new way to provide affordable housing in partnership with qualified Habitat families.
